Have you ever wanted to learn life-saving skills that could make a difference in an emergency situation? Here's your chance! WaterStrong and the East Portland Community Center are thrilled to announce free American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid training sessions in the month of June.

What You'll Learn:

• CPR Techniques: Learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adults, children, and infants.

• AED Operation: Gain knowledge on how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to help someone experiencing cardiac arrest.

• First Aid Essentials: Acquire essential first aid skills to respond to various medical emergencies such as choking, bleeding, burns, and more.

Why Attend:

• Life-Saving Skills: In just a few hours, you'll learn practical skills that could potentially save a life.

• Certification: Upon completion of the training, you'll receive certification from the American Red Cross.

• Community Empowerment: By attending this training, you'll become an empowered member of our community, equipped to respond confidently in times of need.

Event Details:

This training session is open to all members of the community, regardless of age or prior experience. Whether you're a parent, swim instructor, or simply someone who wants to be prepared for emergencies, this event is for you!  

This training is blended, with half of the content presented online before the event and half in-person to practice practical skills.
