Eco-Swim w Bienestar @ FGAC

Remember our summer camp at Hagg Lake with Bienestar and Portland Audubon? This weekend we reunited with 25 wonderful Bienestar families for an afternoon at Forest Grove Aquatic Center for a pool-based Eco-Swim clinic. Tim, Jimmy, Itzel, Milka, Cassy, Marlys, David, Caryl, JoHanna, Capone, Sharlyne, Cristina, Kelly, Mariah, Niomi, and Ollie brought their love for the water and generous care to a new pool, destroying the access barrier. With safety arms wide open and swimming hearts flowing, Team WaterStrong and Bienestar delivered this program in Spanish and English, destroying the language barrier. We had fun, the kids had fun, we recruited a few new instructors. We took some splashes to the face and coaxed a few confident swimmers out of their lifejackets.

Friends, you’re amazing.  Thank you for making WaterStrong magic. Thank you for your leadership and coordination. Let’s do this again on November 5, shall we?
