Women’s Foundation of Oregon major grant

May 18, 2023. This is big. WaterStrong is one of five women-led organizations to receive a $20,000 Health & Safety grant from Women’s Foundation of Oregon. What will we do with it? We’re partnering with YETI Foundation for Child Safety to invest in a few young women in Oregon to train them up into water safety experts, environmental educators, lifeguards and teachers. We have one year to do the work, and we’re hitting the ground running. To kick it off, WFO took over KATU2 for a day to showcase the grant awardees. Honored, grateful, and highly motivated to do some good work!
